In the past three days, my DSL line has been down three times. This is beginning to be quite annoying. I think I became to reliant on a contant network connection when I had Internet service via ISDN. In the couple year span that we used ISDN, our Internet conenction was down maybe 3 times. the DSL seems to be down at least once a week.
What's more annoying is that BellSouth doesn't bother to even give you a warning when they plan on messing with your lines. As I was driving home from work yesterday, I saw the BellSouth trucks (2 of them) driving around my neighboorhood. When I got home, the DSL was dead. That was the second time yesterday. And everytime it does it, it requires me to unplug the DSL modem, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then plug it back in. It would be nice if it would automatically reset itself when it loses a connection.
To sum this up, I hate BellSouth.
