CSS 1 height in Gecko / Mozilla / Netscape

A small complaint. the height property in CSS doesn’t appear to do anything on A elements in Gecko / Mozilla / Netscape. This means that the menu I am creating (a horizontal menu using a UL>LI for the items, and anchors doesn’t appear properly in Mozilla .7 (and other Gecko based things) although it appears just fine in IE 6 (where most of my headaches occur). Haven’t tried it anything else … yet.
